Catholic author Matthew Pinto's new book, Freedom, documents the impact the Theology of the Body Institute is having on Catholic laity and religious across the country. In chronicling the lives of 12 people who share how they have been transformed by the Church's teachings on theology of the body, Freedom features personal testimonies from eight graduates of our Theology of the Body 1 Immersion Course.

Stories include Michael Waldstein, TOB Institute Professor and original translator of John PaulII's Man and Woman He Created Them as well as Steve Pokorny, a TOB Institute graduate who has been called to found an organization promoting the theology of the body. He explains: "I wanted to share this message of true sexual freedom with the world...I have been blessed to study at the Theology of the Body Institute twice...By God's grace, I hope to spend the rest of my days proclaiming this life-changing teaching."

Amid stories from single, married and consecrated men and women, Pinto includes a married woman's testimony of how theology of the body led her and her family into the Catholic Church; three-time divorcee who has now found the true love of her life; and a priest who has come to understand his own masculine potency.
